The Bluth clan is coming back — with controversy in tow!
The so-so season four of Arrested Development saw Lindsay urging the U.S. to build a wall to “keep Mexicans out” — which turned out to be VERY timely!
Now that real-life Donald Trump has proven to parallel that story line with his own (much less funny) racism, show creator Mitch Hurwitz is rushing to get season five out ASAP!

According to reports, Hurwitz is working around the clock with a team of writers to release the fifth season ahead of the November presidential elections — but this time around it won’t just be Trump who’s parodied on the cult-favorite show!
Apparently, season five is all set up to be a serialized murder mystery in addition to having a Trump angle, with Hurwitz drawing inspiration from three true-crime tales that broke BIG in the last calendar year: Serial, The Jinx, and now Making A Murderer.
We can only imagine how AD will take on THAT story line with their well-patented brand of humor!!!

We don’t have dates for release or anything yet, but word has it Hurwitz wants to start production soon — and they’ll need to, if season five is going to be available before the election in November!
