We’re going to assume a lot of you youngins’ don’t remember this, but Arsenio Hall once had a late night show, between 1989-1994, that was aptly called The Arsenio Hall Show! People LOVED it!
Now, many years later, thanks to his comeback fueled by the powers of Trump, he’s re-teaming with CBS for a new talk show!
No one is more excited about the news than the head honchos over at the network, who released a statement sayin’:
“We’re excited to welcome Arsenio back to the family and partnering on his new, late-night syndicated talk show. Arsenio had a substantial following with his previous late-night show, and that same 18-34 audience is now right in the middle of the late-night core audience of 35-54. Years ago, he transcended time periods and attracted a crossover audience while bringing a fresh perspective to late night. That same need in the market exists today as when we originally launched. We are looking forward to the same success with Arsenio’s seasoned expertise and appeal in this genre.├óΓé¼┬¥
The new show will debut next fall, in 2013, covering 52% of the country — including 17 of the top 20 markets — at the 10 PM time slot!
Elated to be back on the tube, Arsenio shared his gratitude in his own statement, saying:
“It’s an amazing feeling to be going home to my old friends and colleagues and firing up our ‘Night Thing.├óΓé¼Γäó Let’s get busy … again!├óΓé¼┬¥
Awesome! We definitely think the world is ready for another go with Arsenio — and we think Arsenio could use this too!
