How tragic!

The 77-year-old actor had a long career in Hollywood, notably starring in all three Free Willy films and alongside Colin Farell and Christian Bale in The New World.

In 2007, the Canadian born thespian was nominated for an Emmy for his work in the HBO drama Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, which also featured Anna Paquin.
