This is so disgusting and so, so sad.
As it turns out, the man who played Dr. Evil’s sidekick in the original Austin Powers IS Dr. Evil.
In 1990, Joseph Hyungmin Son committed the abduction and gang-rape of a twenty year old woman.
The crime reportedly took place on Christmas Eve near the victim’s home in Huntington Beach, California.
Apparently Son and his accomplice took her by gunpoint, repeatedly raped the poor woman, and sexually assaulted her with the gun.
When they released the victim, she was left naked with her pants tied around her eyes.
DNA evidence came through in 2008 which lead to the arrest and conviction of Son, who faces 15-life in prison.
This is horribly sick! Seriously, we’re about to be physically sick.
The criminal will be sentenced September 19.
Rape sentences are usually more lenient than they should be, but we hope the judge gives Son the maximum, or at least well more than the minimum.
