No harm in shooting for the stars, we guess.
Avril Lavigne was recently asked which musician’s career she would most like to emulate with her own. Obviously, there is only one answer to this question, but somehow, it seems kind of funny coming from the virtuoso behind Sk8ter Boi. She revealed to sources:
“I definitely can see myself still being out there in 20 years’ time. I want to be around the way Madonna has done it. She’s had her life but still maintained her career throughout.”
Hmm. Lofty goal, to be sure. Maybe not that too realistic either.
But hey, who knows what kind of music she’ll drop in the years to come. She might find a way to give her career some real longevity.
Still, we’re 100% doubtful she’ll last as long as Madonna has. Just saying.
