April Lavigne dropped some deets about her new album, which promises to be the antithesis of the usual pop punk princess.
That’s the very brief good news!
“A lot of the songs are mainly the acoustic and my vocal,” says Lavigne of the untitled album. “It’s a lot different from anything I’ve done before. It’s not a pop rock record. This is more about emotion and feeling.”
What does she know about emotion and feeling?!
If it were about pAArtying, then she could write a thesis on it!
Lavigne’s troll-like husband, Sum 41 douche Deryck Whibley, produced eight of the 12 tracks on the album and most of the songs Avril wrote herself.
BIG mistake!
She continues, “The first song that I recorded for this record. A lot of people like it. It’s kind of like a lullaby.”
We’re sure it’s nothing new!
April is always a snoozefest!
