Baby Born In NJ Hospital Truck During Hurricane Sandy

A hospital truck was originally brought out during Hurricane Sandy to aid people whose home had flooded, but it ended up serving an entirely different purpose when a woman went into labor in the truck.
Christine Schleppy and her family were panic stricken when she realized she was going into labor in the middle of a hurricane, but NJ officials were able to escort her to a hospital truck when they realized the roads were too bad to make it to the hospital.
Here’s what the husband said:

├óΓé¼┼ôYou hope you can get to the hospital. We knew there were many trees down and roads getting closed left and right. It was definitely stressful. She wasn├óΓé¼Γäót happy about it but ultimately the main concern was to have a healthy baby.”

Well, ask and you shall receive!
The doctor on staff and his team were able to deliver a healthy baby boy named Liam Alexander Schleppy.
That’s one lucky baby!
