This is definitely a case where two heads are NOT better than one!
A baby boy was born in Rajasthan, India yesterday and doctors were more than surprised to find he had two heads! They also found that he has two separate back bones that join at the pelvis and two nervous systems.
Doctors are currently running more tests to see if any other organs are shared or conjoined.
The little new born suffers from a condition called conjoined dicephalic parapagus twins, which is much more common in girls and in most cases, the babies don’t survive birth.
While the condition is serious, doctors at J.K. Lone Hospital, in Jaipur City remain optimistic that he will survive!
We’re definitely keeping our fingers crossed for the little guy!
