Baby Lachlan was born hard of hearing in both ears.
And when his parents, Michelle Lever and Toby Lever from Victoria, Australia, found out about the diagnosis, they knew they wanted to get their son cochlear implants.
So, at seven weeks, they took Lachlan in to get his hearing aids, and recorded the moment their son first heard the world around him.
What’s extra interesting about this worldwide viral video is that it actually took place back in 2012!
For some reason, the internet grabbed a hold of this YouTube clip over the weekend a whole two years after it was first published.
Our only hope for Lachlan is still doing well — and that the family living happily!
