Rachel Bilson is one lucky momma to be!
The Hart of Dixie star was thrown a lovely and ‘non-traditional’ baby shower by her closest family and friends on this past weekend. Rachel and Hayden Christensen‘s baby girl is set to arrive in the fall so it was perfect timing for the f├â┬¬te!
Instead of traditional gifts, guests like Jaime King and Natalie Portman gave Rachel birth beads.
Uhm, what’s a birth bead?!
A source explained:
“Each person gave her a piece of advice and a blessing along with the bead. The beads were to then be stranded together into a necklace for Bilson. She will use the beads for strength during labor.”
Ha, how El Lay!
In return for the beads, Rachel sent her happy guests home with tea and mints in boxes which read, ‘Rachel & baby, mint to be’.
Aw, how adorable!!
We can’t wait for Rachel and Hayden’s baby girl to make its debut!
