Bachelor In Paradise is addressing their shut down controversy HEAD ON — and it’s causing a mixed reaction amongst Bachelor nation.
On Monday, the Bachelor spin off dropped the first trailer for its fourth season and it didn’t shy away from their sexual misconduct scandal in any way. As we previously reported, production for BIP was briefly halted amid sexual misconduct claims involving contestants Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson.

While it seemed as though the ABC dating competition was destined for cancellation, those involved with the scandal were eventually cleared of any wrongdoing by Warner Bros. and were given the green light to continue filming. In order to promote the return of BIP, ABC pushed the “summer was almost ruined” angle pretty hard.
