Oh no. This is every parent’s worst nightmare…

Bachelor alum Michelle Money is begging for prayers after a horrible skateboarding accident recently landed her 15-year-old daughter Brielle in the hospital. The 39-year-old reality star took to Instagram on Monday to reveal the tragic news, noting Brielle is currently on life support in the intensive care unit.

Alongside a photo of her daughter hooked up to several machines while laying on a hospital bed at the Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital in Utah, Michelle began:

“Brielle was in terrible skateboarding accident and is in the ICU on life support. She suffered a serious brain trauma and a fractured skull. She is in a medically induced coma to relieve pressure in her brain. She is in amazing hands up at Primary Children’s Hospital.”

She continued from there, pleading for prayers and healing energy during this incredibly difficult time:

“Please- I am asking for prayers. I believe in the power of communication with whatever God you believe in. The energy of your conscious focus to send healing to my daughter is real. In whatever form you commune with your Higher Power, please as a desperate mother, I am begging you to do so. She needs support and healing right now. And if you could send one up for me as well, I would appreciate it.”

Money described this ordeal as “the worst experience of her life” and said things could’ve been exponentially worse if Brielle had not received help when she did:

“This is the worst experience of my life. ALWAYS MAKE THEM WEAR THE HELMET. ALWAYS. EVEN WHEN THEY PUSH BACK. Thank you to the neighbors who happened to be on a walk and found her and called 911. You will never understand. I would not have found her in time.”

She concluded her post with a message of gratitude and hope that Brielle will ultimately pull through:

“My heart is forever grateful. Thank you to all of you who have sent prayers and messages and love. Brielle has been through so much already this year. She has proven how strong she is. I know she will pull through. #PrayForBrie”

At the time of writing, the latest positive update has come from Michelle’s boyfriend, pro-golfer Mike Weir, who also posted about the accident; he shared a doctor’s message on Brielle that “the swelling on her brain is moving in the right direction.”

Michelle shares Brielle with her ex-husband Ryan Money and has been dating Weir since 2016. Fans will likely recall her first TV appearance on Brad Womack‘s season of The Bachelor in 2011 and the series premiere of Bachelor in Paradise in 2014. She is also the mother of a son she put up for adoption when she became pregnant at 15.

We sincerely hope for the best while this sweet young soul is in recovery.
