Well, it’s finally official!
After weeks of dancing around the topic and “taking it really, really, slow,” sources close to The Bachelor stars Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan have just confirmed the two are now “fully dating.”

According to a confidant who spoke to Us Weekly:
“Peter and Kelley are fully dating, but they aren’t admitting it to people.”
(Admitting it to an outlet through one of your friends doesn’t exactly scream low-key, either, but we digress…)
The pair is reportedly well aware of the reception their *relationship* has been getting and want to proceed with caution going forward. The source explained:
“She has been much more careful and has been staying in her house ever since her incident with Peter while walking on the Riverwalk in Chicago and doesn’t want to be criticized all over the internet.”
Bachelor alums like Tyler Cameron and both of the airline pilot’s recent exes — Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett — were notably among those who threw shade at the two for quarantining together. Prewett even claimed Peter reached out to her in an effort to reconcile just days before he met up with Kelley, and said it was “hurtful” to see Weber and her close friend moving on together so soon.
It feels like the new couple is trying to be more mindful of their online presence and it’s probably a good idea, too. Not unless they actually like getting made fun of on TikTok, like they have been lately!
Fans of the ABC show definitely saw this announcement coming, though. Earlier this month, Bachelorette alum Dustin Kendrick, who’s been staying with the two in Chicago, teased Us:
“I think it’s fair for them to come out and say what they want to say, but the only thing I can say is that they look really cute together and their interactions are really cute as well. I’m sure you’ll be possibly hearing stuff in the future from them, but I’ll let them say that.”
Around the same time, Weber had this to say about his connection with Kelley on Nick Viall‘s Viall Files podcast:
“Are we dating? No. Do I love spending time with her? Absolutely. Could I see that in the future? Yeah, of course. I’d be extremely lucky and very happy if that happened. Of anyone, I’m the last person that needs to rush into any kind of relationship. I just had an engagement that didn’t work out. I just was trying to pursue things with another woman that didn’t work out. That’s why right now, I’m just taking it really, really slow.”
All that quality time together really paid off!

Fans will recall Peter and Kelley actually met before his season started and reconnected one night one after Flanagan was cast for the show. Despite getting sent home just before hometowns, the 28-year-old attorney maintained a connection with the lead and earned the notorious stamp of approval from his family. Now the rest is, as they say, history!
It might take a little more time for them to get comfortable being public, or for the rest of Bachelor Nation to get on board with this pairing — but we do know at least one person who’s very excited about all of this:
