Could the eighth time be the charm for Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood?

The 62-year-old Wood checked himself into a rehab clinic in south London on Saturday after much urging from his family and fellow band-mates, including Mick Jagger.
“The news Ronnie’s decided to go into rehab is really pleasing for Mick,” said a source close to Jagger. “He has always urged him to get help when he’s had his problems – and this case was no different… Mick’s just delighted he’s taken heed and is trying to get himself straight.”
Friends say Wood was pretty broken up over his split from Celebrity Big Brother star, 21-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova, which drove him to hit the bottle – and hard.
“They were in a terrible relationship, but since their break-up he has not been himself,” another friend divulged. “He has been lonely and drinking and has tried to throw himself into new romances.”
Glad to see he’s getting the help he needs!
