No, Bad Bunny did not burn the American flag.
That image of him in a dress and makeup burning the flag of The United States? Yeah, it was fake! An account that produces AI images created it, and it spread on social media like wildfire — mostly by supporters of MAGA too bummed about him being the Super Bowl 2026 halftime show headliner.
The original post — with a caption of “Bad Bunny caught on stage last night preparing for his Super Bowl halftime show” — of course got people on Facebook up in arms. You can see a share of it for yourself HERE.

And if you don’t believe this is actually artificially generated — because trust us, we know AI is getting crazy these days — a closer look at the video will tell you everything!
First of all, Bad Bunny isn’t even heading back on tour until February 13, and he’s especially not doing a concert the night before the big game. Then, if you look at the flames, some of them aren’t even burning the flag, while others seem misplaced.
Take a second to zoom in on the crowd, too! All their faces look eerily unreal. You can’t even point out one person’s full face, it’s extremely blurry and some people are even meshed together. Creepy!
Also, again, this originated from an AI satire account. And if you put the video through AI detection scanning, it comes back clear as day — THE VIDEO IS A FAKE!
But that didn’t stop people from falling for it and maliciously sharing it to spread more bigoted hate against him.
So spread the word if you see anyone falling for this obvious interaction bait — that is NOT Bad Bunny. In fact, he flew an American flag at the real halftime show on Sunday night! Keep your eyes peeled for stuff like this y’all!
Reactions??
