New Jersey governor Chris Christie has made his less-than-favorable opinion of Barack Obama pretty clear over the course of his presidency, but in light of Hurricane Sandy, the Republican has set aside his differences with the Democrat.
While visiting the Brigantine Beach Community Center and speaking to refugees of the storm, they both praised each other’s response to the disaster.
When Obama told the crowd, ├óΓé¼┼ôI want to let you know that your governor is working overtime,” Christie added:
“He’s been working with me. It’s really important to have the president of the United States here.”
Wait. Hold on a second.
Did Chris Christie just say that things get done when Republicans and Democrats work WITH each other instead of against each other?
That’s what we heard!
Some say that God sent down his windy wrath to warn us about homosexuality and whatever other ignorant agenda they want to push, but maybe the Almighty just wanted us to shut up and get along.
