While he may not be the Khalessi, he IS the President and that means he’s got just as much power!
It seems that during the upcoming President’s weekend, our man in charge, Barack Obama will be binge watching Game of Thrones & True Detective all weekend!
But, but, GoT season four hasn’t even aired yet! And True Detective has only shown like four episodes!
It’s not like the Prez has them on his DVR!?!
Well, reportedly, Michelle Obama‘s hubby approached Richard Plepler, the CEO of HBO and asked him a very pointed question.
He said:
“Where is my True Detective and Game of Thrones?”
After he asked him, he also implied that the upcoming weekend was the perfect time to have access to the shows.
Ya know, since he will be spending it at Sunnylands estate in Rancho Mirage, California!
So what did he do next?
Reportedly, he sent one of his aides to HBO CEO to make sure he knew the correct address & how to get the DVDs through White House security!
Talk about major connections! We WISH we could contact HBO to have early access to both shows!
Though we guess he wouldn’t be president if he didn’t have power.
It still doesn’t stop us from being jealous!
