Barbie Winz!

We mentioned last month that Barbie’s parent company, Mattel, went to court for control of the Bratz doll empire.

Well, on Thursday Mattel was declared the winner of the ownership case.

The billion dollar Bratz franchise may be in the hands of Barbie soon!

The Barbie folks were able to prove to the jury that the guy who ‘created’ Bratz was properly under contract at Mattel when he ‘birthed’ the dolls, so the ho dolls ‘rightfully’ belong to them.

Lessons learned — read/understand your employment contracts well, y’all!
