Barry Manilow Hospitalized Due To Oral Surgery Complications -- Will He Be Able To Perform At The Grammys??

UPDATE 12:19 P.M. EST: Good news! It looks like Mr. Manilow’s most recent hospital visit was a success. His rep recently confirmed:

“Barry is out of surgery and doing well. His Doctors report that the surgery was successful and they expect no further complications. For the next forty eight hours, Manilow has been instructed not to talk, sing, or rap.
Barry thanks everyone for their well wishes and concern.”

Earlier this week, Barry Manilow was rushed to the hospital following complications from oral surgery he had done only a handful of days ago. Yikes!
It’s said that the Mandy singer was able to perform at his sold out Memphis, TN concert but had to rush back to El Lay for medical attention. The 72-year-old’s team took to Facebook on Thursday to confirm that a few of his concerts would have to be rescheduled.

But what about the hitmaker’s performance at the Grammys?? They wrote:

Bummer!
This isn’t the first time Barry’s had an unfortunate health scare. In fact, ever since a benign tumor ruptured in his mouth back in 1986, Manilow has had to undergo regular dental treatments. Ouchie!
Nonetheless, the music icon’s publicist Victoria Varela reassured fans on CNN that Barry is doing fine and has left the hospital. Phew!
