We might press charges for wearing that outfit though! LOLz!
After causing an uproar at a Bourbon Street bar in New Orleans this past Tuesday and allegedly assaulting a bartender, Cuba Gooding Jr. may be getting off scot-free.
Despite telling the police that Cuba shoved her not once, but twice during the altercation, the bartender is NOT pressing charges.
A spokeswoman from the Old Absinthe House told sources:
“It is our understanding the employee involved in the alleged altercation has chosen to drop all charges against Mr. Cuba Gooding Jr. While we continue to investigate this matter internally, we are hopeful that this will put an end to the matter.”
Although he met with police after a warrant was reportedly issued for his arrest, Cuba apparently sorted things out.
Still, his arraignment on the charges is scheduled for Friday. No word on whether or not he actually needs to show. It sounds like the misdemeanor charge of municipal battery will disappear real soon.
Regarldess, pushing women is a BIG no-no! Let’s hope Cuba learns from this mistake so we don’t hear about any more similar incidents in the future.
