The all-time hit leader in all of baseball is Pete Rose and TLC has begun the production of a new reality series based around him.
If you’re not familiar with Pete Rose, he was banned from baseball after gambling on games while he was managing the Cincinnati Reds.
The working title is long and probably won’t stick but for now the show is called Pete Rose and Kiana Kim Family Project.
The show will focus on the relationship between the 71-year-old Pete and his 30-something-year-old model fiancee, Kiana Kim.
Pete said:
“People will get a chance to see what kind of personality I have ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and she has. I think the majority of people who don├óΓé¼Γäót know me look at me as a very aggressive person. I see that in the autograph world all the time. People come in and they├óΓé¼Γäóre scared to say hi. I├óΓé¼Γäóm not going to do anything unless you try to strike me out or make a double play. When I took the cleats off, I was a down-to-earth nice guy. I don├óΓé¼Γäót talk down to nobody or up to anybody. I talk to them.”
Sounds like it could be a good show.
They certainly have an inneresting family dynamic.
