Bath & Body Works had a MAJOR oversight in their design division… This is BAD.
Customers of the fragrance retailer are FUMING after noticing one of their latest candle designs bears a striking resemblance to the symbol of one of the most sinister hate groups in US history: the Ku Klux Klan. We’re not joking.

For a new holiday candle called “Snowed In,” Bath & Body Works decided to decorate the label with a snowflake design… Except, it’s zoomed waaay in to the pointed tips of the snowflake, which feature two little rounded holes. Yeah. They look like little KKK hoods. See (below):
YIKES.
Not one person saw this packaging and thought… Uh oh?? On social media, no one could UNSEE it! Netizens were quick to share their disapproving takes, quipping:
“KKKandle”
“Everyone in the design department should be fired”
“Bringing a new meaning to ‘white Christmas’”
“Klandle”
Not good at all! But in response, the company has apologized and taken action to remove the controversial candle from shelves. In a statement to NBC News, they wrote:
“At Bath & Body Works, we are committed to listening to our teams and customers, and committed to fixing any mistakes we make-even those that are unintentional like this one. We apologize to anyone we’ve offended and are swiftly working to have this item removed and are evaluating our process going forward.
