Beauty Deal In The Works For De La Renta???

It looks like it!

According to sources close to Oscar de la Renta, the fashion house is reportedly in talks with a private equity investor to pen a deal for the recently re-aquired Oscar de la Renta Beauty label.

The potential investor is said to already have investments elsewhere in the beauty industry and is primarily interested in Oscar’s fragrance division, which brings in a hefty amount of cash annually. They may also be looking to expand the cosmetics line and skin care line and eventually dabble in the apparel and retail business.

Sounds like a great deal for Oscar!

A rep for de la Renta declined to comment, but if the deal is in the works it’s expected to be finalized in the next few weeks.
