Arie Luyendyk Jr. Will Appear On Becca Kufrin's Season Of The Bachelorette & UGH, Can't We Get Rid Of This Guy Already?!

Arie Luyendyk Jr.
would probably haunt Becca Kufrin‘s dreams if he could.
Not only was her ex-fiancé brought up multiple times during the premiere of The Bachelorette, it sounds like he will most definitely make an appearance at some point this season as she tries to find a new love!
On Wednesday, Becca herself confirmed to ET that the race car driver will come on the show for a sit down chat. Geez, we hope she’s able to get him to leave this time!

The publicist explained:

“He will show up, yes. We do have a conversation and you’ll just have to see that unfold. At that point it wasn’t emotional, it was just two adults sitting down, wishing each other the best and talking through our experiences. That was our last conversation we’ve had. I knew that would probably be the last time we had a conversation, and I wish him and Lauren the best.”

Sounds riveting. As for Arie’s claims that the messy breakup was “edited” and heavily produced to make him look bad… Becca said that isn’t so:

“His actions were his own. I don’t think production really had a hand in how long he stayed or didn’t stay. I explicitly said ‘leave’ and ‘get out,’ and he could have if he wanted to. He’s a grown adult.”

Yuuup!
ABC‘s Senior Vice President of Alternative Series, Specials and Late-Night Programming, Robert Mills, backed that up by saying:

“There was nothing done that hasn’t been done on any other season. I have to say in production and the producers’ defense, if this was so unorthodox and felt so wrong, why didn’t Arie say [something]? It’s unedited. You don’t see a cut anywhere. So why didn’t Arie say, ├óΓé¼╦£No, I don’t want to do this. This isn’t right.'”

There you have it! Sorry, Arie.
