Argo, his latest movie baby, is about a CIA exfiltration expert on a mission to rescue six Americans in hiding out of Iran.
Hmm, okay.
Oh but wait! Get this. The six in question are under the ruse of a Hollywood film crew. Ahhh, so THAT’s why George Clooney is producing.
Ben Affleck wants to star as the CIA expert himself AND direct the film. When asked what he thinks about risky business, Affleck comments:
Failure is just a function of risk. I look at my great heroes as actors and directors and none of them have perfect records. I imagine I will have an even more imperfect record.
