Berlin has awarded Roman Polanski the Best Director Silver Bear award for his film, The Ghost Writer.

Although Polanski was unable to attend the ceremony in Germany due to being… well… incarcerated in Switzerland, the pedo director forwarded a message through his producer.
“Even if I could come, I wouldn’t,” said Polanski. “Because the last time I went to a festival to accept an award, I ended up in jail.”
Ha. Ha. Ha.
