Broadway icon Bernadette Peters is returning to NBC’s Smash in her role as Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty‘s) famous mother!
We saw in season one how Bernadette’s matriarchal character pushed Ivy to be the best, or fade into nothing, and viewing their strained relationship shed light on WHY Ivy can be so competitive and cut throat, yet extremely insecure.
SO souped for Smash‘s totally revamped season two and ALL the new cast additions! We can’t wait to see Jennifer Hudson, Jeremy Jordan, Nikki Blonsky, and Sean Hayes (among others) in all their broadway meets small screen glory!
