The TV talk shows are off and running!
So who has a commanding lead in the ratings already???
We’ll give you a hint: she’s blonde, funny and loves to dance!
The one and only Ellen DeGeneres scored some HUGE numbers yesterday for her Season 11 premiere, pulling in more viewers than any other talk show for the second year in a row!
But there’s a new girl on the tube who wants a piece of Ellen’s audience!
The former Real Housewife hit the ground running yesterday for the debut of her very own talker, appropriately titled Bethenny.
So how’d she do on her first day?
Not…terrible.
The Skinnygirl got some good ratings, considering that she’s starting from square one here! Bethenny pulled in a .9/3 in households, meaning about 1% of all TVs tuned in to watch her show.
That might sound kind of sad, but it’s actually not that bad of a number, considering how small the daytime audience is.
But where Bethenny really shined was in WOMEN!
She managed to go up DOUBLE-DIGITS in female viewers from her lead-ins AND compared to the same time slot last year!
High five, gurlfriend!!!
While Ellen was watched by even more women, it seems like Ms. Frankel is off on the right foot! And she’s proven to be capable of winning at ANYTHING she puts her mind to!
