Bethenny Frankel must be so freakin’ happy to be out of the courts completely!
We previously mentioned her drawn-out, brutal custody case against her ex, Jason Hoppy, is finally over. She must be so relieved.
And now, she’s finally got a ruling on her Skinnygirl Margarita class action lawsuit!
Two women sued her alcoholic beverage, claiming that even though it was advertised as all natural and a healthy alternative to other margarita products, it had preservatives in it and was def less than natural.
Well, it seems like Bethenny dodged a bullet because the judge in her case ruled in favor of Skinnygirl because of a technicality!
The judge found that the plaintiffs failed to figure out who had previously purchased Skinnygirl margaritas and failed to provide a plan for how money would be repaid.
Court documents said:
“There is simply no way for the Court to know that such a method will actually work, and Plaintiffs have done nothing but provide mere assurances that it will.”
The part that might leave Bethenny a little short of celebrating is the fact that the judge left things sorta open ended.
The plaintiffs still have the option of correcting their mistakes and re-filing their motion!
Jeez, this lawsuit, from back in 2011, seems like it’s never gonna end!
