It looks like Betty White won’t be able to join in with Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake on the patriotic fun.
If you’ve been keeping up, you know how some marines have been sending genius Marine Ball invites to their favorite Hollywood stars via Youtube.
Sgt. Ray Lewis was the latest one, asking Betty to be his hot date.
But in a statement released to reporters, Betty regretfully declined:
I am deeply flattered and truly appreciate the invitation, as everyone knows I love a man in uniform, but unfortunately I cannot accept, as I will be taping an episode of Hot in Cleveland.
Aww, boo!
C’mon producers, do your patriotic duty and postpone the filming. We feel so bad for the guy!
If it’s any consolation, Sgt. Lewis, we thought your video was the best!
You changed into your formal uniform with a rose and everything. Thank you for all of your hard work for our country (and for making us smile and laugh)!
