Sounds like people are starting to confirm that Beyoncé, just three years after her husband Jay-Z controversially took the stage, might be headlining the final night at the famed Glastonbury music festival!
Remember all that flak Jay-Z was getting for not “fitting” the festival, and then he ended up blowing everyone away?? We hope that Beyonc├â┬⌐ will get a warmer reception because of it!
Coldplay will be there too, which is super for B, because she and her hubby are really good friends with Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow! We’re sure a familiar face will be very nice to have.
The final line up won’t be announced until the spring, so we’ll just have to wait for the list!
Until then, we’ll watch what insiders are confirming, and rely on the cryptic words of Michael Eaves, founder, talking about the final night spot:
“An American artist that I’ve been wanting for yonks and yonks.”
We weren’t quite sure what a “yonk” was, so we Googled it. Slang for a sliding scale measurement of time. We guessed years. Close enough! LOLz!
