In her new interview with Rolling Stone, Adele talks a lot about her music, those who have shaped it and those who have graciously offered her praise. She recalls the day she met Beyonce for the first time and reveals that their brief encounter left an everlasting impression on her. She explains:
“I was about to meet Beyonce and I had a full-blown anxiety attack. Then she popped in looking gorgeous, and said, ‘You’re amazing! When I listen to you I feel like I’m listening to God.’ Can you believe she said that?”
Yes, yes we can. Who wouldn’t say that?!
Part of Adele’s charm is that she still doesn’t see how unbelievable she is, but we wish she would! You’re a star, girl – and other stars like you know how to appreciate your shine!
You guys should totally do a duet together – something somber and sweet with a sassy edge to it!
