Even though Taylor Swift pulled her entire music library from Spotify, other artists haven’t been too quick to follow suit.
And that might just help Beyonc├â┬⌐ to dethrone Swift’s 1989 from the top of the charts! Bey’s eponymous Beyonc├â┬⌐ surprise album from last year is now available on the streaming service and that’s a big deal.
It’s not just a big deal because she’s a HUGE artist or because the album has six new remixes and bonus tracks or anything… it’s big because Billboard is now including tracks played via music-streaming services in its weekly album rankings!

That means that with ol’ Swifty pulling her music from streaming and Beyonc├â┬⌐ adding hers, Bey might just unseat Taylor.
One Direction might agree with Beyonc├â┬⌐’s move too… they just hit one billion streams on Spotify!!
They hit the incredible milestone only a week after they released their newest album Four.
