Big Bang Theory Drowns Out Duets

If ABC thought Kelly Clarkson’s musical reality show was going to pull in BIG summer ratings, they were waaaay wrong!
Thursday night, Duets and EVERY OTHER SHOW that aired, got schooled by a RERUN of The Big Bang Theory.
That’s right! A rerun of a sitcom won the night in ratings, with 8.7 MILLION viewers! We bet the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre, and some CBS executives will drink to that AMAZINGNESS!
Meanwhile…the new ABC show only managed to round up 5.89 million viewers. That’s down from last week, the poor thing!
Obvi, someone needs to capitalize on good new summer programing — and fast!!
