Bijou Phillips is on the road to recovery!
After suffering from an insidious kidney disease for the past 7 years, the actress finally underwent dialysis and received a kidney transplant.
Thankfully, her husband Danny Masterson is happy to report the surgery was “100% successful”!

On Thursday, the That ├óΓé¼╦£70s Show star took to Instagram to give an update on his wife’s health, and thank the man who saved her life.
The actor shared an image of the 37-year-old lying a hospital bed post surgery holding hands with her kidney donor Chris Wadhams, which came with an emotional caption:
“My lady has been slowing dying for the past 7 years of an incurable kidney disease. She was given the gift of an encore by a tall angel. Our daughter will have a mother. We do not take lightly how incredibly fortunate we are. 100% successful transplant. Now the real work begins for her to silence any chance of rejection. Our deepest gratitude to a perfect transplant team. And a life owed to a tall drink of water. Sl├â┬íinte!”
The actress announced she was in need of a transplant back in February, with Masterson’s rep revealing she was born with “small kidneys.” Now, it looks like the new momma has a clean bill of health.
