While attempting to start a family this spring, Guiliana Rancic began to undergo in vitro fertilization treatments with the support of her husband Bill.
The two were thrilled to tell fans about the pregnancy, but just nine weeks later, Giuliana miscarried.
“Both of us were in shock,” said Bill. “Failure wasn’t an option!”
And they are debating if it is worth it to go through possible heartbreak again.
Giuliana said:
“I said, ‘I’m not doing this again. I can’t.’ I was angry at life and at God. Hopefully we can help people understand that there’s nothing to be ashamed of. It’s such a taboo subject, but it’s a very common problem.”
