Billy Bob Thornton's Daughter Found Guilty Of Manslaughter In 1-Year-Old Girl's Death

It was two years ago yesterday that we first learned about the tragic death of a 1-year-old girl who was under the care of Billy Bob Thornton’s estranged daughter Amanda Brumfield.

Now, we’ve learned that Brumfield has been found guilty of aggravated manslaughter in the 1-year-old’s death.

As a recap, Billy Bob’s daughter was babysitting the 1-year-old at the time, and claimed that the child “was trying to climb out of a playpen and hit her head,” but the defense argued that the fall might have aggravated “a previous injury,” which could have caused the infant’s death.

Brumfield’s sentencing is expected to take place this July.

Such a sad, awful situation. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the parents of that poor child.
