Billy Bob Thornton’s estranged daughter, Amanda Brumfield, has been released on a $279,000 bail from the Orange County, Florida, jail where she had been incarcerated for the negligent death of a young child on her watch.
Meanwhile, her court case for first degree murder charges remains pending.
In addition to murder charges, Brumfield, who has her own children, is facing aggravated child abuse and manslaughter.
Brumfield was babysitting one year old Olivia when she died of a large skull fracture. Brumfield says she fell out of her playpen but investigators suspect homicide.
