Oh no! Steve Irwin‘s daughter Bindi Irwin has been rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery!
The annual Steve Irwin Gala was held at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas on Saturday — an event Bindi, her brother Robert, and their mom Terri typically never miss. However things were different this year as the 26-year-old unexpectedly landed in the hospital amid a medical emergency! According to Robert, Bindi required emergency surgery after her appendix unexpectedly ruptured! OMG!

But don’t worry — she’s going to be okay. While at the fundraising event, which celebrates Steve’s legacy and wildlife conservation efforts, Robert told People:
“She’s going to be OK, but surgery — out of all the things we were ready for, that was not one of them.”
So scary! The 21-year-old added that his mother Terri opted to skip the gala in order to be by Bindi’s side amid her health emergency. Poor Bindi. This comes one year after she revealed a painful journey with endometriosis to the world — one that, like her appendix, left her no choice but to undergo surgery.
Robert added:
“She’s just come out the other side of endometriosis and now the appendix goes. Health is so important — it really is. Bindi has become an incredible advocate for women’s health, particularly, and I think it’s really important to prioritize getting help.”
How tough!
Prior to her appendix rupturing, Bindi was all set to attend the gala. On Friday, she shared photos of her, Robert, and Terri in Vegas. See HERE.
We’re sending so much healing energy her way! We wish her a speedy recovery!
