Long live the new Marvel king!
The full reviews for Black Panther are still under embargo until closer to the film’s release, but those lucky enough to have seen the film are prowling the interwebs with nothing but praise!
Members of the extended Marvel family took to Twitter to gush over Ryan Coogler‘s blockbuster, which finally gives King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) a big screen adventure all his own.

The actors and filmmakers who applauded the long-awaited feature included Thor: Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson, Ant-Man and the Wasp director Peyton Reed, The Avengers director Joss Whedon, and Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn.
Don’t worry, those unaffiliated with the Marvel Cinematic Universe also enjoyed the film; singer Jill Scott even hailed it as better than Star Wars! Now that’s a fucking review.

I don├óΓé¼Γäót know where to begin with Black Panther. Ryan Coogler & Marvel got it SO RIGHT – the landscape has CHANGED. But I├óΓé¼Γäóll start with the fierce, hilarious women of Wakanda – & costumer @iamRuthECarter, who did Serenity & does HISTORIC work here. Wows all ├óΓé¼╦£round. #BlackPanther pic.twitter.com/epGxbU1QNR

Black Panther. So very good. I cheered and laughed and pumped my fist. I’ve never seen a super hero movie like it. Everybody involved with it deserves a medal and a high five.

I like rarely weigh in on movies. But, I loved Black Panther. And the guy sitting next to me ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ Laurence Fishburne ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ kept saying “Oh, Shit. Oh, SHIT.” Now that├óΓé¼Γäós a review. https://t.co/Q5f8VSSPeD

#BlackPanther kicks so much ass. The King hits hard with his fists but harder with his words. Perfect counter programming to today’s world. Wakanda Forever!
