Trevor Noah has not hidden his love for the movie Black Panther — but he did hide his secret role in the Marvel megahit!

Trevor’s reps confirmed to The Wrap that he did indeed go uncredited as Griot, which is kind of like Shuri’s version of Jarvis, a voice-activated A.I. system that controls her lab.

Griot (which means “Storyteller” in West Africa btw) helps guide Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) through the remote piloting system as he joins the final battle in a drone ship.
