The Gossip Girl starlet sizzles on the June cover of Marie Claire in a red satin Balmain dress and perfectly styled blond locks cascading over her left shoulder.
When she wasn’t posing in Jenny Packham, Marios Schwab, Dolce & Gabbana or Calvin Klein, Miz Lively opened up about all things fashion and Serena van der Woodsen.

On the public’s perception of her:
“People like to draw parallels between my life and the scandalous stories on Gossip Girl. I dress the same as my character, so they think, she lives this life on and off set. I recently shared how many boyfriends I├óΓé¼Γäóve had [four], and people were like, ├óΓé¼╦£That├óΓé¼Γäós impossible!├óΓé¼Γäó But it├óΓé¼Γäós true. I├óΓé¼Γäóve been with very few people. If I├óΓé¼Γäóm not with somebody who really excites or inspires me, then I├óΓé¼Γäód rather be by myself.”
On her current style crush:
“I love Florence Welch. She├óΓé¼Γäós pure magic. I always admire people who make really strong choices. When you do something bold, it├óΓé¼Γäós usually because you feel really good in it.”
On not using a stylist:
“My assistant will call fashion houses for me, but I always pick the outfit, shoes, jewelry, and a lot of times I do my own hair and makeup for events. Sometimes I think, God, why do I do this to myself? It├óΓé¼Γäós so much extra work!…I often see people and they look great, but I can identify who styled them. Every stylist has a signature. Maybe it sounds jerky, but I├óΓé¼Γäóm lucky to be on such a fashion-centric show [Gossip Girl]. There├óΓé¼Γäós no designer I don├óΓé¼Γäót have access to.”
