Going to a concert can be pretty expensive these days, especially if you are a Bon Jovi fan.
But don’t worry, there is a good reason you are shelling out so much $$$ for one of the band’s concerts this summer: it’s special!
To clarify, Jon Bon Jovi explains that the astronomical ticket prices that fans are complaining about are the prices for “special packages” to one of his shows. He maintains that his loyal fans can still come to their gigs and rock out at a reasonable price.
But these aforementioned griped about tickets are selling for $2,080 and we don’t know what is so “special” about them – and neither does Jon. When asked to defend the price, he replied:
“Those tickets are a couple of special package tickets…I don’t really know what they are, they could be anything. It may be that you get everything and it may be 20 tickets. But it ain’t the front row and it ain’t the front section. It’s certainly not gipping (conning) anyone else out of anything.”
So for over $2,000 you don’t even get to sit in the front row??? Seriously??? Then, what the eff is the point???
Someone needs to talk to their marketing people about this!!!
