Madonna’s fans tend to kiss the ground the beloved singer walks on, but apparently, they don’t see eye-to-eye on everything.
A crowd of 60,000 people in Bucharest, Romania, began to boo Madge last night when she spoke out against discrimination against Gypsies in eastern Europe. She explained that no one should be discriminated against and that it made her “sad” that Gypsies, also known as Roma, face this kind of plight.
That’s when thousands of Romanian fans, who did not agree, loudly booed the pop star. She didn’t react.
One day, free thinking people like our Madge will say things like that and it will be received warmly and with enthusiasm. We hope to see that day come sooner rather than later.
