Maddie Ziegler has seen her fair share of terror on Dance Moms, but that’s nothing compared to what she’s going through in the upcoming thriller Book of Henry!
The tiny dancer makes her big screen debut alongside Naomi Watts, playing a young girl trapped in an emotional prison at the hands of her creepy stepfather (Dean Norris).
The upcoming film centers around Watts’ Susan Carpenter and her two sons: 11-year-old Henry (Jaeden Lieberher) and 8-year-old Peter (Jacob Tremblay).

In the trailer, the brilliantly smart and mature Henry realizes there’s something wrong with his next-door neighbor Christina (Ziegler) and her step-father. When Susan learns her genius son has devised a plan to shed light on the situation, she worries it may be too extreme.
Aside from potentially abusive parents and suburban missions of vengeance, we also catch a glimpse of Maddie’s character dancing (because of course) and a quick shot of Sarah Silverman in a supporting role.
Ch-ch-check out the trailer (below) — and catch Book of Henry in theaters June 16!
