Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was found guilty of all 30 out of 30 charges for his role in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
The 21-year-old Boston bomber now awaits the penalty phase. 17 of the 30 counts against him may even call for the death penalty.
Three people — Krystle Campbell, Lingzi Lu and 8-year-old Martin Richard — were killed by the two bombs Dzhokhar and his brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev set off during the busy race. Dozens of others were injured and maimed in the attack.
A fourth — Officer Sean Collier — was shot killed in the manhunt that followed the bombings.
Celebrities took to Twitter to express their condolences to the victims, while others called for justice. Here are some of their passionate responses:
