Adrianne Haslet-Davis is a 32 year old dancer who lost everything five inches below her knee on her left leg because two poor excuses for humans decided to bomb the Boston Marathon last week.
Whatever the reason for the bombing, it obviously didn’t work. We might have lost three lives and some lives have changed forever, but they did not break the city, the nation, or their victims. They under-estimated how strong good people can be!
Take Adrianne for instance. She lost her foot and part of her leg, but guess what?
She’s vowed to not only dance again… but run the Boston Marathon next year! Here’s what she said:
‘I can’t let some[one] come along and steal my whole life. So, I’ll dance again. And next year, though I’ve never been a runner, yes, I plan to run the marathon. Dancing is my life. Yeah, having my foot blown off, that really sucks. But I can’t wallow in woe is me.’
So was it worth it, bombers? NOPE. Just like it never is!
Maybe next time would-be terrorists (and REAL terrorists) will understand that nothing good will ever come to their cause by doing atrocious things like this, but everything good will end up going to whatever they’re fighting!
BOSTON STRONG!!
