Suspect #1, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev (pictured on the right), has died after being wounded in a major shoot-out following a robbery at a convenience store where both suspects were reportedly the perpetrators.
Apparently Suspects #1 and #2 — being ID’d as 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (pictured on the left) — stole a car, and that’s when the police engaged them in a crazy chase.
During the shootout that followed, Suspect #1 was wounded and later died in the hospital. Unfortunately, a law enforcement officer died during all of this.
Suspect #2 is still on the loose, and it is being reported that law enforcement officers believe he has explosives strapped to his body.
Police have reportedly surrounded a house in Watertown where the suspect is believed to be inside.
ALL RESIDENTS HAVE BEEN URGED TO STAY INSIDE!
Both suspects are being ID’d as brothers from Russia’s North Caucasus region, who moved to the U.S. legally.
