The suspects’ father is so distraught over everything, he’s now claiming his boys must have been framed!
Anzor Tsarnaev spoke with ABC News Friday morning, speaking of disbelief and begging for his son to surrender peacefully.
He also warned “hell will break loose” if his younger son is killed and admitted his suspicions:
“If they kill my second child, I will know that it is an inside job, a hit job. The police are to blame. Someone, some organization is out to get them.”
Well, Anzor didn’t stop there. He reportedly gave another interview to Russian TV, insisting Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev‘s innocence, commenting:
“Someone framed them. I don’t know who exactly did it, but someone did. Damn cowards, they shot the boy dead. There are cops like this. … I’m afraid for my other boy. Maybe he’ll be shot dead too… and they will say well, he has weapons.”
Wow.
The suspects’ uncle doesn’t share the same sentiments, though. He says the young men deserve death and can’t believe the shame they brought to his family, calling their actions a reflection of stupidity.
Hopefully the second suspect is caught alive so we can get some truth and motivation behind all of this, but as far as everyone knows, the manhunt is still underway.
