Could there really be a cure for baldness?
Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon Dr. Simon Ourian says he was the first to discover the link between Botox and baldness.
In fact, he kind of stumbled across it while he was treating his mother who was suffering from migraines and going through chemotherapy which caused her hair to fall out.
The doc knew the wrinkle relaxer could treat headaches and after injecting it into his mother’s scalp he was surprised that it made her hair grow back.
Inneresting.
Ourian claims he’s been testing his discovery on volunteers for three years and has made it more effective by adding a vitamin cocktail. He states, “With my patients these Botox vitamin injections for baldness have been very safe and more effective than anything I have seen before.”
Since the discovery, Botox injections are being used on those suffering from alopecia areata, which causes the hair to fall out. The injections are known to reduce the chemical activity that obstructs the hair from growing.
What a great discovery for those that lose their hair due to cancer and other diseases like alopecia! We hope after hearing about this treatment, it’ll help their battle be a little easier.
